Ward's Restaurant - Mendenhall

We are new to the area and I had never eaten at wards so it's the obvious choice right? Well it was amazing! However I didn't get a burger, my husband did and raved over his chili Bacon cheeseburger; me on the other hand has a thing for a good fish sandwich and guess what theirs did NOT disappoint! It was hot , fresh , and made to order. We accompanied our meals with Root beer floats and a water each. Full was an understatement, if not for our fur baby there would have been leftovers. But above the simply delicious food was the staff. Unfortunately bc of COVID-19 I have become accustomed to rude, over worked, underpaid staff; to my surprise the staff that I interacted with was smiling and pleasant even with all of my"Can I get's". And was bid adue with a "Be Blessed , ma'am. " So in summary. Ward's in Mendenhall, Ms is a 10/10 for me and mine! Keep up whatever you are doing... It works!!!

First time eating at a Ward's. The burger and chili cheese dog were very good. Ask for the spicy fries. They aren't really spicy but they taste great. Get a glass of their homemade rootbeer.

July 31 & August 1, 2023 had really great service morning and drive-thru. Fries were hot and good.

Best breakfast sandwiches and root beer ever. Don't mind a big one every now and then either.
